An Administrative Assistant provides support to managers, teams, or executives by managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing files, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and organize calendars, appointments, and meetings
Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
Prepare reports, presentations, and doents
Maintain filing systems (digital and physical)
Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
Order office supplies and manage inventory
Assist with basic bookkeeping or expense tracking
Support team members with administrative tasks
Greet visitors and provide general assistance
Education and Experience
-High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require an -associate's or bachelor's degree
-Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles is preferred
Skills
-Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
-Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
-Attention to detail and accuracy in handling tasks
-Basic understanding of office equipment and technology (phones, printers, fax machines)
